We are a husband and wife team who enjoy making movies for the glory of God. Over the last few years we have produced three short films about Martin Luther, Katie Luther, and John Calvin. You can view those films on our “film” tab.  In October 2022, we released our latest film about John Knox.  John Knox: As Told By Littles is available on DVD or digital download in our shop!  If you purchase our Knox DVD, ALL of our films are included!

In December of 2022, we released our very first episode of our podcast, All Things Together.  We hope to reach all ages with our podcast, which is almost like a variety show that points to the gospel through church history.  

Our goal is to create films, documentaries, podcasts, books, and other forms of media to teach about how God used people throughout history to carry on the gospel.

Troy is the executive producer of the Haven Today radio program (that is his day job), and he is also a pastor at our local Reformed Baptist church. He has had over 25 years of film and television production experience and is passionate about storytelling and sharing the gospel. With Five Solas Films, those passions come together.

Melissa is a mom, homeschool teacher, and art teacher who is passionate about art, history, and the gospel. Five Solas Films is also a creative outlet for her as well, illustrating people who have impacted history with the gospel, researching and writing—this creative outlet easily brings those passions together.

Five Solas Media, Inc. is a non-profit organization and it is our hope to continue to create more content that educates kids and adults about sound biblical doctrine and church history in a way the entire family can enjoy together. And of course, our desire is to always bring glory to God!
